Yong Shi, University Chair Professor of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, serves as the Director of the Research Center on Fictitious Economy & Data Science (FEDS) and the Director of the Key Lab of Big Data Mining and Knowledge Management (BDK), both at Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has been Charles W. and Margre H. Durham Distinguished Professor of University of Nebraska at Omaha, USA. He is the Elected Fellow of the World Academy of Sciences for the Advancement of Science in Developing Countries (TWAS, 2015), the Counselor of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China (2016) and the Elected Fellow of the Asia-Pacific Artificial Intelligence Association (AAIA, 2022). His research interests include Business Intelligence and Analytics (BI&A), Big Data Mining and Knowledge Management, Data-driven Decision Making, Digital Economy, Artificial Intelligence, and Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM).
